Nona Kozak

Nona Kozak is a multidisciplinary artist, with a focus in ceramic sculptures. She was an Art student when she joined the Canadian Army Reserve as an Intelligence Operator in 1999. After 9/11 she transferred to the Regular Force as a Signal Operator, where she continued to pursue art in her spare time. She deployed to Afghanistan twice and also to Kuwait. She completed a Masters of Arts in Interdisciplinary studies in her spare time, in 2020. Sergeant Kozak was edically released in 2022, as an Intelligence Operator. She copes with her PTSD through her art and dogs.
