Enda Bardell
Originally from Estonia, via Sweden, Enda Bardell is an award-winning Canadian Artist living and working in Vancouver, Canada.
Enda has been involved with art since childhood, studied at Vancouver Art School (Emily Carr University of Art and Design), and completed studio courses and workshops with prominent Canadian artists such as Toni Onley and Joan Balzar, both of whom she considers her mentors.
While maintaining a sporadic art practice, Enda’s inquisitiveness has taken her through many stimulating and creative careers such costume designer in the film industry, fabric artist, founder of Enda B. Fashion Limited and realtor, and finally back to her original passion of art. Enda has exhibited her work in many group and solo exhibitions nationally and internationally, winning awards and enjoying collectors from all over the world.
Two of her early hard edge abstract paintings were included in the 2010 Estonian Art in Exile exhibition at KUMU National Art Museum of Estonia in Tallinn. Relief was selected by the curators for KUMU’s permanent historical collection. Quadrangle is in the permanent collection of Tartu Art Museum.
