Bettina Strauss

I'm a professional photographer and artist with German roots who grew up in Europe. After studying photography in Munich, I made myself a name as a theatre and opera photographer throughout Germany and Switzerland.

 

Since moving to Canada about 15 years ago, I've enjoyed working in the film and movie industry as a stills and art photographer, along with emphasizing commercial and editorial portraits. Now, one of my passions is running Happy Hound Photography, a Vancouver photo studio for pet portraiture.

 

Here, we've created a relaxed and playful environment that allows me to capture the essence of each dog's spirit and character. My imagery pays homage to the uplifting and healing energy that dogs add to the world.
