Lizete Dureault

I am a professional artist, painting from my North Langley, BC studio, specializing in still-life cubism with acrylics on gallery-style canvasses.

“ The early 20th Century cubism movement, Picasso and Braque, is the driving influence in how I approach most of my current work. I love painting from multi-faceted viewpoints juxtaposed in geometric shapes. My mission is to achieve unique stylized pieces, bold, imaginative statements of things I perceive, from mystical totems to musical instruments, to capture the west coast lifestyle”.

I studied at Emily Carr, training to become an accomplished painter with oils and watercolours. Acrylics recently became my medium of choice and mixed media.
