Donna Topham
I first became seriously interested in photography during a trek through the mountains in Northern Argentina. Inspired by some of the beautiful birds I saw, and discouraged by the poor quality of images I was getting, I began to pursue my hobby more seriously. Wildlife photography, including the Neotropical birds of South and Central America, as well as the charismatic megafauna of Africa, became my primary pursuit for many years. When Covid 19 clipped my wings and prevented travel I turned my attention to other subjects, experimenting with Multiple Exposure and Intentional Camera Movement. This approach has been a transformative experience for me, having opened a world of potential for creativity and innovation. The results are never predictable, always surprising, and often compelling.
